Bonjour !!

PARIS

France is one of the most visited countries in the world, with Paris being one of the most visited capital cities.

"Paris has once again scooped the top spot as the most popular tourist destination in the world. Some 32.3 million people visited France's City Of Light in 2013".

I have had the opportunity to travel to France several times either by a ferry, plane and euro train. I believe that everyone who lives in England should travel to France at least once in their lifetimes, as it is geographical proximate to the UK and very cheap to travel to.

The main thing I loved about Paris is their architecture and design. Particularly the city's main monument -The Eiffel Tower, which is magical during night time.

Paris is very flat and by travelling to the top of the Eiffel Tower, you have the opportunity to hold the entire city in the palm of your hands. You can literally see everything everything through a campus.

Throughout my journey in Paris I managed to see the following sites:

-Eiffel Tower

-Louvre

-Notre Dame

-Arc de Triomphe

-Montmartre

-Musée d'Orsay

-Tuileries Garden

-Moulin rouge

After the Eiffel Tower, my second favourite building was the Notre Dame. In my opinion the entire building was a MASTERPIECE. The details carved inside and outside of the cathedral were just perfect. The cathedral was even more amazing than I could have imagined. The building began around its constuctions around 1160 and it continued until 1345. Its the most beautiful cathedral that I have ever seen and being so close to it, allows you to truly appreciate all the hard work that went into it for centuries. It also reminded me of the narrative story of Esmeralda and the hunchback of Notre Dame.

Good design is not only found in building and architecture but also in fashion. Paris has been votes as the Fashion capital of the world and this was noticed in the numerous amounts of high street designer shops. Some of the biggest fashion labels such as Coco Channel happened in Paris, where they invented the iconic 'Little Black Dress' and continue to innovate across the world.

This part is a little strange..

I love watching trashy Tv shows like 'Keeping up the Kardashians', I managed to visit one of Kim Kardashian's most favourite restaurants in the world. In one of her episodes she claims her favourite restaurant was named 'Ferdi' and it was located in Paris. It was something I had to go and see for myself.

I was surprised by Kim's choice of restaurant as it's very small and it not very expensive . I didn't expect Ferdi to look like that but I really enjoyed their burgers. The service was extremely slow and I wouldn't categorise Ferdi as one of my favourite restaurants in the world. However I did like their burgers and I would consider going there again.

ST THIBERY

St Thiebery is very small village in the South of France . I liked the way the building had maintained their old architecture and this somehow makes the village feel very safe. There are not many young people living in this village however it's a great to escape stress and be alone. The atmosphere is very relaxing and time tend to go in your own pace when you are in St Thiebery . One thing I loved eating here were 'Merguez' which are beef sausages.

This is a roman bridge that was build 30 BC–14 AD. It was very cool to see parts of it still remaining.

The train no longer work in St Thibery but its lovely seeing winter cover all of their train tracks.

VALRAS PLAGE

I spend my weekends in the Valras Beach, which is also located in the South of France. I travelled to the beach during winter, therefore it was quite empty. I didn't go for a swim because the sea is expected to be cold.

The sand was covered with huge pieced of wood log the sea had bought from other Mediterranean countries. Its amazing knowing the forces of nature and how powerful the four elements are.
