Today I chose to visit a butterfly farm in Stratford Upon Avon, which is one the biggest butterfly farms in the UK.
I will try and keep this post short and share with you some of the main reason why I choose to come here.
- Its a great value for money. £6.25 for Adults and £5.75 for Students.
- The place is easy to find and there is parking nearby.
- There are thousands of colourful butterflies living under a tropical atmosphere build in huge greenhouse. It's very relaxing watching them and being able to join them in their own habitat.
- The butterflies tend to land on your shoulders
- The ground is surrounded by baby quails running around, which is adorable to see.
- There are Iguanas and there was a pond with fishes.
- There is a room filled with different caterpillars who are waiting to hatch. They all hang on Chrysalis (pupae) that come from abroad.
- Insect Room is filled with spiders, lizards, ants, beetles etc... The room is one of the largest insect collections in the Uk. It is also home to snakes and reptiles.
If you are in the Midlands give them place a try. Its super cheap and worth a quick visit. You will not be disappointed
